In the Grade 5 People and Environments strand, teachers will use a newspaper article about the Idle No More movement to address how communities make change and how perspective informs problem-solving. Teachers may wish to select an article about a more current issue (e.g. Northern Gateway pipeline, land rights etc.) from the website or other news sources.
